"We cancelled our insurance with Brett Olson in JULY 2023 due to finding a better policy and price. They continued to charge our account for the next FOUR months. When we tried to make contact to resolve the issue, we were met with unprofessionalism and rudeness from their CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER (HA!), DARLENE BUNYARD. Since it was her blatant mistake, instead of taking ownership and fixing the issue, she got defensive and hung up on us, and refused to answer our calls and texts. It is now March of 2024 and we still haven’t received our refund after we have provided PROOF of our bank statements where we were wrongfully charged. Darlene kept doubling down and saying, “oh those transactions were supposed to be reversed.” We clearly provided proof from our bank and showed THEY WERE NOT REVERSED. Then radio silence again. This agency takes money from customers wrongfully then is unwilling to right their wrongs. We are a newly married couple with a newborn. We cannot afford to have $200 taken out of our account every month while also paying our other insurance policy that we cancelled for. It is baffling to me how these people choose to do business. I’ve filed formal complaints with corporate State Farm and with the BBB to warn people. I will never recommend State Farm - specifically Brett Olson Agency to anyone I come into contact with. And BEWARE of the front desk receptionist. If you cancel or need her to do something, please make sure to get a confirmation number and document because she will not do it then play dumb and be rude when you raise the issue."
